KNIT IT - HOOK IT - CRAFT IT
Finishing needles - set of four
Product
Not all metal needles are created equal. The ones within this set are Bohin needles, manufactured in France. These are generally the manufacturer of choice for quilters around the world.
In the set, I have added three sizes of Bohin rounded tapestry needles that are great for weaving in ends from lace weight up to aran/worsted. I have also added in a large plastic needle which is great for chunky/bulky weight yarns (manufactured in China).
All of the metal needles are tapestry needles, which means that they have blunted ends. This is best for weaving in ends.
Needle sizes and suggested yarn weight use:
Size 14 - Great for DK - aran/worsted weight yarns
Size 18 - Perfect doe 4 ply and sport weight yarns
Size 20 - Ideal for laceweight yarns
Large plastic needle - Good for chunky and bulky weight yarns
Product materials, sourcing and PoM Rating
These metal needles are manufactured in France, the plastic one is manufactured in China and the sets are packaged by me in the UK. Because the vast majority of the set is made within the UK, this set has been given an amber PoM rating.
Postage and Packaging
You can read all about P&P here.
The P&P costs applied are very transparent. No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage. I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods. I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretence of 'Free P&P' with potentially inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
